Expert in cosmetic surgery takes on prestigious national role
Dr Beatriz Molina, founder of aesthetic medicine company Medikas, has been appointed vice-president of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine.
Dr Molina, who runs Medikas clinics in Bristol and Somerset is known as an international expert and speaker on non-surgical cosmetic medicine and she took up her new national role in July.
She said: “I’m thrilled to be given this honour and I passionately believe that aesthetic medicine is of enormous benefit to society, giving people confidence in their appearance which in turn promotes good health and wellbeing.
“I also look forward to raising awareness around best practice and celebrating those practitioners who operate to the highest and most ethical standards of care.”
The BCAM has the aim of advancing the effective, safe and ethical practice of aesthetic medicine to the benefit of all concerned through leadership, provision of information, education, support, professional development and the maintenance of the highest professional standards.
