A Bristol clinic for non-invasive cosmetic surgery has won a prestigious national award as the Best New Clinic in the UK.
Medikas, based in Whiteladies Road, Clifton, was awarded the title at a glittering MyFaceMyBody event in London (Nov 1).
The clinic was opened in May and is a founding member of the Save Face campaign to promote higher safety standards in aesthetics nationwide.
Dr Beatriz Molina, founding partner of Medikas Bristol, said: “We are thrilled and honoured to be recognised in this way so soon after opening. The judges were impressed by the wide range of procedures we offer to our clients in a stunning environment with a team which puts safety and customer service above all other considerations.”
Medikas Bristol was created by Dr Beatriz Molina. Dr Molina started her first clinic in 2005 offering medical cosmetic treatments to help people of all ages and backgrounds feel better about themselves. From the beginning the aim was to provide aesthetic procedures in a relaxing environment by practitioners with a qualified, medical background.
Each clinic offers a comprehensive range of services including wrinkle injections, dermal fillers and skin tightening through to cellulite treatment, mole removal and help with weight loss.
The Best New Clinic award was presented to the Medikas team by Lorna Bowes founder of MyFaceMyBody by Lorna Bowes and Stephen Handisides. The awards are dedicated to the cosmetic, aesthetic and dental industry to recognize excellence in product innovation and popularity.
